Happy Yappie Summer Dayz
Updated: Sep 30
Summer at Yappie Dayz has been filled with sunshine, splashing and plenty of happy pups making the most of the warm weather. As soon as the brighter days arrived, our gang settled into their summer routine and the outdoor play area quickly became the heart of the fun.
With paddling pools out, toys scattered around the play area and the team ready for the heat, the dogs wasted no time diving into their favourite activities. Some pups were straight into the water, splashing around (and soaking everyone nearby) while others preferred a slower pace, stretching out and soaking up every drop of sunshine. Whether they were cooling off with a dip or lounging in the sun, every dog found their own way to enjoy the heat.
One pup who especially loves the sunshine is little Dave the Dachshund. He’s our daycare sunbather who comes in, picks a warm spot to settle into like he’s at a beach resort, and quite literally does not move all day. While the others splash and play, Dave enjoys his own peaceful version of summer and it’s become one of our favourite running jokes over on our socials!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Scottish summer without a few rain showers. Dodging the rain became part of the fun and not a single shower managed to dampen their spirits with the team on hand to help dry off and wait for the clouds to pass.
Between the sunshine, the splashing, the games, and the sunbathing, the Yappie Dayz pack made this summer one to remember. The team loved watching how much joy the warm weather brought to the dogs, seeing them enjoy the outdoor play area is one of the best parts of the season. Every photo from the past few months shows just how much personality each pup brings to the daycare, whether they’re splashing in summer or settling into the cosy months ahead.
Here’s to a happy yappie summer full of happy memories, and to all the autumn fun waiting for our wonderful pack ☀️🍂🐾
